John Self turned me on to this forum today and I'm glad to be able to connect with all of you. I've been a supporter and sponsor of John and Kerry Self for about a year and look forward to supporting the entire Raw Dogs team.
The Raw Dogs will be competing at the Gold's Gym Strongarm Challenge on June 9 in Leesburg, VA. This is an unsanctioned meet but in support of and with support from 100% RAW. The lifts are bench/curl (strongarm), bench only, curl only and bench reps. I think Kerry Self will easily bench 190 in this meet!
Federation memberships are not required and 12" wrist wraps are allowed. APT's wraps are preferred.
Some members of Camp Mayhem my come up from NC to challenge the Raw Dogs which should make for a very exciting time!
Details are available at www.rawdogspowerlifting.com and www.bmfsports.com and online entry is available. As an added incentive, the male and female lifters with the highest pound for pound bench and curl will receive a $100 sponsorship courtesy of BMF Sports.
