Hey guys! The Duncans are thinking about you! Daniel and I loaded/spotted for the women and lightweights at the USAPL American Open (Ronnie B, how do you feel about Russian food?)
It got me thinking about next year. I'm a few months (and a few hundred pounds -- on the bar, not the gut) behind the Pope, but I close out 08 with the big 50 bday. So I'm plotting my course for next year (BTW, Becky Rich is on the West Coast, somewhere around Oakland, FYI).
BWT -- currently 360-370; goal for 09 -- under 350 (then under 320)
SQ -- 550-600 Raw (may throw on the gear and try to get over 600)
BP -- 325 (that would be a 20 pound jump over 08)
DL -- 550-600 Raw
Meets I'll attend Jan -- ADFPF MHS meet Feb -- USPF MO state meet Mar -- USAPL MO state meet May -- USAPL Masters Nationals July -- USAPL Raw Nationals
(I don't know about APA meets or about ADFPF Nationals/Worlds)
What about you guys?

If all goes as planned 2009 will be non stop for me. We should travel in January or Febuary to China to pick up our daughter Abigail. She is now three years old. i should became a Grand Dad in July if all goes well for my oldest son John and his wife.
Then the meets we have planned for this year should be awesome. Outside our state and local meets we have the 100% Raw Ironman Nationals in March and Masters Nationals in May. Then July the USAPL Raw Nationals.
Lifting wise I want to get my shoulder healthy and do all the lifting I can. I want to try and lift couple of new meets this year. I am looking at the USAPL PA single lifts meet and ADAU single lift Nationals. I plan on lifting in the 100% Raw and USAPL Virginia State meets.
I want to do more to honor the Lord he has been wonderful to me and my family I want to give him Praise.
And even Looking ahead to 2010
Jeremy will graduate from Liberty
USAPL Bench Nationals in the fall

As for power lifting.... To not get hurt with my BMX racing and stay healthy for the meets. To not lose strength with all my BMX racing ill be doing. But to still gain strength. ( this might be a tuff one ) To bench 410 RAW or more at a meet while still weighing under 181. To do more USAPL RAW meets. To be a good witness for GOD and Jesus. To be a good husband and father to my family. To be a good friend to my friends. To get more music done and more DJ Self CD's done this year. To have as much fun as I did this year.
