At this time I plan to lift raw in the USAPL Richmond Open (full meet) and the USAPL Raw Nationals in St Louis.
I plan to lift equipped at Bench Nationals.
My goals include losing another 20 pounds of body weight, which doesn't include the ten pounds I have put on since the Va State meet, that has to come off ASAP. I just broke down when faced with all the great holiday food. I bellied up to the trough and pigged out. Whew!
Lifting goals (RAW) 415 squat 385 bench 500 dead lift 1300 total
I wish everyone a great new year!

Wow Ronnie that would put you in the 220's life is good. That is a good looking schedule. I hope to make my return to the 198 class at the USAPL Virginia Open. If my back stay's in shape I may make the USAPL RAW Nationals as well.

Well, I do not think I will make it to 220 this coming year. However, I would like to stay 325 or under. A long with that, I would like to keep my diabetes under control as it has been in the past years. I have to keep an eye on Ron with those six-pack abs. he is work on. I have to keep him from going to the other side (BB).
As far as my lifting goes, I will continue lifting raw during 2008. The contests that I will be lifting in will be Arnold Sports Festival and the Raw Nationals. After those two, I will pick something up in October or November to finish out the year.
My goal for 2008 is simple, after hitting a 1741 total in November 2007. I would like to see if I could get near an 1775-1800 total raw.
Happy New Year and 27 white lights for everyone.

I made a deal with myself a few years ago that I would qualify for USAPL Men's Nats by the time I was 30. Well, here I am at 29 and need to get after it. I will be 30 until July of 2009. That means I have 18 months to do it, but would like to do it by the end of this year.
My plans are to stop doing so many meets and just focus on that goal. The qualifier at 220 is 1660. I easily totaled 1450 at my last meet in VA. I will only do 2 meets this year. I will do a meet in June. I plan to go 600, 400, and at least 500 for a 1500 total and hopefully more.
Then I will do the USAPL American Open in Dec. I will try to either total a 1660 or win my weight class for the invite. I will be happy either way. If I can;t do it, I will have about 8 more months to get it done.
I am also switching to the sumo dl. As I get fatter and my squat just keeps going up, my back problems don;t ever get uch better, and I have had problems with my dl, it told me it was time to switch. It is difficult, but I think in time I will pull 600. If I can add the 600 pull to a 640 sq and a 420 dl I iwll be there.
My other goal is to become a full 220. I am about 210 right now. I am working on my diet to drop a few pounds of fat and add about 15 pounds of muscle.

So I guess that long running joke of us meeting in the 220's may come to life afterall. ;D You better kick it up a notch or I'm going to beat you there. Best of luck to everyone in '08 and some great training going on in here!
