So since Ronnie and Jim both welcomed and made me feel guilty at the same time I thought I would throw my journal over here too in case anyone is interested. Current weight is 190ish. Monday 7 January 2008 Squat (note: We use a 55 lb bar and my monolift to train) Squat (raw w/belt from 415 up) 55/2x10, 145/8, 235/5, 325/3, 415/3, 505/3, 595/static hold for 2x15 seconds, 415/3x3 GHR 3x12 Standing Leg curl 90 3x8 Wednesday 9 January 2008 Bench Bench (raw w/wrist wraps 225 up) 45/2x10, 135/10, 225/8, 275/3x5 Upright Rows 95/10, 115/2x10 Wide grip Pulldowns 140/12, 150/12, 160/10 Bent Over DB Side Raise 30/3x10

Thanks John and Jim! Friday 11 Jan 2008 Deadlift I am ashamed to admit that with the holidays my deadlift training slipped to the wayside so I concentrated on form tonight. My speed is nowhere to be found at the moment. Deadlift (sumo belt only 315 up) 135/2x8, 225/8, 315/5, 405/3, 365/3x5 Low seated pull close grip 160/10, 170/10, 190/10 Lying leg curl 120/3x12 Standing hammer curl 35/2x10, 40/10 Finished up the workout by chowing down on a bowl of steak soup, 9 oz steak and sweet potatoe. I meant to check weight over the weekend but had to work and forgot.

LOL, thanks Jim. I knew someone would call me on that but it's ok, I knew it was high. Honestly, it was the first time I had taken 645 down so I was happy to get as low as I did and back up. ;D 14 January 2008 Squat Our gym is colder than....well, let's just say it's d**n cold in there! It took a little while to get the blood flowing but things are coming around. Squats (add belt 405 up) 55/3x10, 145/2x10, 235/5, 325/5, 415/3, 465/3x3, 505/1 GHR 3x15 I needed some more assistance work but did I mention it's cold in our gym??? Plus I was starving and needed to feed the machine. I'll slide back in for some assistance later in the week.

Alabama APF State meet, my parents have been bugging me for a while to visit for something other than a funeral or wedding so I thought I would kill two birds with one stone. ;D From what I have heard Buddy puts on a great meet and it keeps growing every year. Last year he had 97 lifters so it should be good for some competition anyway.

Missed bench training last week due to work. Friday 18 January 2008 Dead Platform deadlift off 100lb plates 135/2x6, 225/6, 315/6, 405/3, 415/2, 405/2x3 (added belt and straps at 405) Hammer strength high row 140/3x12 DB row 110/3x12 DB Shrugs 120/3x12

1/21/2008 Squat (at Training Center tonight because it was just TOO COLD to train in our place)
Squat 45/2x10, 135/10, 245/6, 335/6, (add briefs and belt) 425/1, 515/1, 605/1 (wrapped knees loose), 655/2x1 (first set knees wrapped, second set suit on straps down w/no knee wrap) Neither of those was close to depth but wanted to get the weight on my back and try taking it down for the first time since October. It felt really good last night. 425/6 (belt and briefs only)
Lying Leg curls 120/12, 130/2x10 Good Girl/Bad Girl superset 120/3x12

Bench 45/2x10, 135/8, 185/6, (add wrist wraps) 225/3, 275/3. (add shirt) 365/3, 405/3, 455/2 (about 1" from touching. Probably could have touched but didn't have a lot of confidence in my side spotters as I just recruited a couple of people in the gym) Shirt off for 225/10
Seated DB Military press 50/15, 60/12, 8
Standing V-Bar Tri Extension 100/3x12
