10-21-07 Squats-(bwt 328) Boy, I don't know where to start after today workout. Ron(AKA Old Fart) Beuch had a great day with PR squats and over 2xbwt deadlift.

Jim The owner has set up a nice squat and deadlift area for the powerlifters. Most of the local gyms have tossed all the powerlifters. So, Dino was nice enough to help us out. Its about an hour trip from my house but it has to be done.

11-03-07 Test Day(Belt, knee Sleeves)
btw (326.5) That was after having a big meal at the hotel before getting on the scales. Today was my day all the way around because I went 9 for 9 and I didn't save anything to bring back home. I hit raw PR's on the Squat, Deadlift, and Total. My lifts went as Follows:
squat 551 606 617 bench 363 407 424
dead 622 672 700
Total 1741
My lifting partner Ron B. played a big part in my great day today and thanks!!!!
PS I was drug tested afterward today

I made it to the gym this morning to spot and load for my lifting partner's workout. Be on the look out for the big truck that hit me yesterday.....LOL After all the loading Ron did for me and others in the warm up room yesterday. He took a shot at a 400lb raw squat. He give it a hell'va ride but just didn't have enough left in the tank. Then worked his way up to a 500lb deadlift, again give it a ride but just didn't have it today. I will be going back to my workout schedule on Thursday with the bench. Going to drop the numbers a little and get back at it (4x5).

11-12-07 Squats-(bwt 324.6) First day with squat after my 11-03-07 Test day. I've been having a hard time getting under the squat bar until about the third or fourth set. On the third set of 405 we move the height of the bar up from 7 to 8. At setting 8, that stopped the bar from rolling down my back an inch like it normally does on the first rep of every set. I have to give thanks to Gary Hart for making that suggestion. It paid off well for my last three sets of squats today. Add 5lbs on next squat day 11-26-07
Deads (just a belt) First day back at the deads after test day. Didn't have a lot in me after the squats 550x2 625x0 I got it off the floor and it stopped. Tried it a second time and it didn't come off the floor. At that point I was done for the day......
same on next deadlift day 12-02-07
