had some more bad news this week,, went to a nefrolgist (kidney specialist) and he informed me thay I have stage III chronic kidney disease. He based this on my having 5 of the 7 factors that indicate kidney disease.
1. I had kidney stones 2. I have a family history of bad kidneys (cancer) 3. I have high blood pressure 4. I have a family history of heart disease 5. my creatinin level is 2.7 ,my base line with 2 kidneys was 1.7
He told me to stop taking all supplements, go on a low protien diet, and wrote a prescription for a third blood pressue medicine to take with the two I take already.
Needless to say I was less than happy. I will have the 12 tests he scheduled for me and take it from there.

Spent last weekend in New Orleans, Easter fell on my fortieth wedding anniversary this year.
Had boat load of tests done on my remaining kidney this week, will get the results next week.
